This Year's Winners Are... All who attended the 2006 specialty in Kalamazoo! Hats off to Chair Steve Diuble and to all the members of his tireless specialty committee for their collective efforts in making us feel welcome during our stay in Michigan... Congratulations to Pamela Levy and Ch. Benayr Nessun Dorma (better known to all as "Tucker") on their Best of Breed award under Judge Ken McDermott at the 2006 ATCA National Specialty on May 26! A Brief Excerpt from Mr. McDermott's Critique... "The day had started off gray, gloomy and with some drizzle. Slowly the weather had greatly improved and by the time the Specials class was in the ring, we were in beautiful full sunshine with a gently comforting breeze. The whole evolution of the day matched the evolution of the breed. From dark, gloomy beginnings the breed has emerged into the lovely animals that faced me in that Specials class. I hope that many photos were taken and I hope that they will be seen by many people. You have arrived! Sure there is more work to do but, oh my, you have progressed nicely and are to be complimented on that." Read his entire judge's critique in the next issue of the Talkabout!
